Yasmine Salehy is a researcher in cold chain sustainability in the FRISE unit at INRAE. She graduated in 2018 from ESILV engineering school, where she majored in numerical mechanics and modeling. She then earned a Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering through a joint program between the Industrial Engineering Research Department at CentraleSupélec and the Refrigeration Process Engineering Department at INRAE. Her doctoral research centered on the design and simulation of refrigeration systems, with a focus on evaluating their overall performance across different usage scenarios and developing a decision-support tool to guide R&D in new system architectures. Her current research examines the cold chain as a socio-technical system, with a focus on integrating sociotechnical performance into its systemic assessment.
